Screw piles are large steel screws that are turned into the ground by hydraulic motors. Their installation does not require pre-digging or the pouring of cement. They are “simply” screwed into the ground at the desired depth. Screw piles come in different shaft and helix sizes. We generally use piles with 3” shafts and a 10” helix. The standard length of the Mascore screw piles that we use is 6’.​​
